استقبل زعيم ائتلاف الوطنية الدكتور اياد علاوي مساء اليوم الخميس رئيس الوزراء المكلف السيد علي الزيدي حيث قدم له التهاني بمناسبة تكليفه بتشكيل الحكومة متمنيا له التوفيق والنجاح في اداء مهامه الوطنية خلال المرحلة المقبلة.
وجرى خلال اللقاء بحث مجمل التطورات السياسية والاوضاع العامة في البلاد والتأكيد على اهمية الاسراع في تشكيل حكومة وطنية قوية وقادرة على تلبية تطلعات المواطنين تستند الى الكفاءة والنزاهة وتحمل المسؤولية الوطنية.
واكد الدكتور علاوي ضرورة ان تتبنى الحكومة المقبلة منهاجا وطنيا شاملا يقوم على ترسيخ هيبة الدولة وتعزيز سيادة القانون ومكافحة الفساد وتحقيق العدالة الاجتماعية الى جانب حماية استقلال القرار العراقي وتغليب المصلحة الوطنية العليا وكان هناك تطابق وتوافق في وجهات النظر بشأن هذه المبادئ والاولويات الوطنية.
كما شدد الجانبان على اهمية تعزيز وحدة الصف الوطني والتعاون بين مختلف القوى السياسية بما يسهم في ترسيخ الاستقرار ودفع عجلة البناء والتنمية.
