أعلنت القيادة المركزية الأمريكية، امس الاحد مقتل ثلاثة من جنودها وإصابة خمسة آخرين بجروح خطيرة، في إطار عملية “الغضب الملحمي”.
وذكرت القيادة في بيان أن عدداً إضافياً من الجنود تعرّضوا لإصابات طفيفة نتيجة الشظايا.
وشنت الولايات المتحدة وإسرائيل، صباح اليوم السبت، هجوما عنيفا وواسعا على إيران، بعد أسابيع من تهديد واشنطن لطهران بعمل عسكري وحشد قواتها لهذه الغاية في منطقة الشرق الأوسط.
وأتى بدء الهجوم بعد ساعات من إبداء ترمب عدم رضاه عن مسار المفاوضات مع إيران، وذلك في خضم محادثات بين الطرفين بوساطة عمانية.
